Somerville Builds

Somerville Builds is a hands-on kid making event featuring engineering, design and art activities from Part and Crafts, MakerState and the Museum of Science and sponsored by Arts Union.

It takes place from 12-4 at Fringe, 9 Olive Street in Union Square Somerville on Sunday March 2nd.

Kid makers of all ages will have the opportunity to make electronics, comics, LED pop up books, and stop animation movies, participate in guided workshops and play and invent with Lego, recycled materials and shop supplies.

Please join us for the biggest kid making event in Somerville history!
Sponsored by MakerState, Parts and Crafts and Arts Union with collaboration from the Museum of Science and many more.

MakerState partners with schools to bring our master-based labs and also train teachers in bringing unforgettable, experiential learning back to their classrooms.

We all remember our best teachers and the impression they made in our lives and on our learning.

MakerState is dedicated to making that happens for all our kids.
The Parts and Crafts Collective is a group of thinkers, teachers, and tinkerers in the Boston area who are interested in helping people build, think, create, succeed, fail, and learn.

We run hands-on creative arts, science, and engineering programs for kids and adults to help people learn and do and make things.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
