Somerville: HOLIDAY ARTS & EATS Festival at Assembly Row

The first annual HOLIDAY ARTS & EATS FESTIVAL is a three-day European style Christkindle market with some modern twists. It will feature 25 of New England’s best food trucks, 60 of the region’s best Etsy artisans, performances by local choral and a capella groups, and other fun holiday activities.

The event will include a large heated tent with a food court for enjoying food truck purchases and marketplace for some holiday shopping.
Friday night, “Arts & Eats After Dark,” will be a 21+ evening, with a hot wine (Gluhwein), eggnog, and beer area, live music, and a special holiday photo booth, in addition to the food trucks and arts market.

Saturday and Sunday will feature an array of family-friendly activities including photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, gingerbread cookie decorating, a community stage with, of course, the food trucks and arts market.

The event runs Friday from 6-10pm and Saturday and Sunday from 11am-6pm.  Admission will be only $5. Children under 12 are free.

Assembly Row is less than one mile away from both Sullivan Square and Wellington Circle stations. It is also easily accessible by car, right off of I-93 and Route 28. Free parking is available.
