Tu B’Shvat Story Hour at Andover Bookstore

It’s a birthday party, and you’re invited! All children, ages 2.9 – 6, and their parents are invited to join the staff of Congregation Beth Israel of Andover Religious School as we celebrate Tu B’Shvat, the birthday of the trees at a story hour, featuring the book Happy Birthday, Tree! by Madelyn Rosenberg.  We will learn about the ways we can make a tree happy, as well as the many gifts we get from trees.  Stories, songs, movement activities, crafts, and treats will round out our birthday celebration.

This Tu B’Shvat story hour will take place on Tuesday, January 14, from 10-11AM at the Andover Bookstore, 89 Main Street Andover, MA.  The program is made possible by a grant from the Merrimack Valley Jewish Federation, and is open to the entire community.  RSVPs are requested by January 10.  You may email Eddirector @BethIsraelMV.org or call the office of Congregation Beth Israel at 978-474-0540.
