Patch Reader Helps Reunite Lost Cat With Owner

A Reading resident recently posted that he had found a cat, and thanks to the post he was able to reunite the furry friend with its owner.

Katherine Brown's cat had been missing for about two weeks. But thanks to a fellow Patch reader, Brown was able to bring her furry friend back home.

Patch user Ron Powell posted a photograph of a cat he had found and brought into his home.

Later that same day, Brown commented that her cat Buddy fit the description, and she was hopeful it could be him.

One day later, on December 2, Brown commented again to provide an exciting update - the cat Powell had found was indeed her missing cat that had gone missing two weeks ago.

"With the help and the kindness of the Powell family and the help of the Reading Patch, Buddy was found!," Brown said. "We are very excited to have him home and very thankful that Powell family cared for him. He is resting under the Christmas tree now."

If you have a missing animal, or anything else you think your fellow Reading residents can help you with, be sure to post the information on Patch and we'll help in any way possible.

"We are just glad that Buddy and his family were re-united," Powell said after helping reuniting the cat and owner.
