RMHS Graduate Preparing for Five-Year Army Stint

The former Rocket basketball player was a co-captain in 2013.

A Reading Memorial High School graduate is preparing for a tour with the United States Army as he will leave for a five-year term this winter.

Dominic Desimone enlisted in the United States Army's and qualified for the MOS 31B Military Police special forces program.

As a result Desimone, the son of Leo G. DeSimone and Cara Pacos, will leave for his five-year term on February 1.

Desimone graduated from Reading Memorial High School in 2013. He was a four-year member of the Rockets' boys basketball team, and earned the role of co-captan during his senior season.
