Food for Fines: During National Library Week, we will accept non-perishable foods in place of fines. The food will be donated to the North Reading Food Pantry.

Library Snapshot Day: April 12, we’ll be joining libraries across the nation to provide a snapshot of what happens in a day in the life of libraries, taking photographs and posting them on flickr. Please help us celebrate libraries!

April 12, For Kids: Drop-In Origami Craft all day in the Children’s Room.

Something Old: The Local History Room--a great place to research your house.  Ancestry.com, to research your ancestors (in-library use).

April Exhibit: Walking North Reading-- photographs, watercolors, acrylics-images of the town from a walker’s perspective. Co-sponsored by the North Reading Pedestrian Sidewalk Committee, as part of their Local Motion Initiative.

National Poetry Month: Tuesday, April 17, 7PM, Nancy Bailey Miller reads her poems, Thursday, April 19, 2-3PM: Nancy leads a poetry writing workshop. Please call 978-664-4942 to register for the workshop.
