Preview of Fall Events at the Flint Memorial Library

Find out what's happening at the library this Fall.

We have some exciting programs this fall. We hope you’ll mark your calendars. Be sure to join us!

Thursday, September 13, at 7PM Laura Harrington, author of the novel, Alice Bliss, talks about her well-reviewed first novel, about a teenage girl whose father is deployed to Iraq.*

Tuesday, September 18, at 7PM The Better Business Bureau of Boston presents a program on Identity Theft. Find out how to prevent it and what to do if it happens to you.*

Thursday, October 4, at 7PM, two North Reading authors discuss the novels they wrote in 30 days last November, as part of NANOWRIMO, National Novel Writing Month. Nancy Parsons and Danielle Masterson also offer tips to those who plan to participate in NANOWRIMO this year.*

Thursday-Saturday, October 18-20 The North Reading Garden Club presents Art in Bloom, with a reception on Thursday, October 18 at 6PM. The reception will also be for the five members of The Art Pack, whose work will also be on display at the library.*

Tuesday, November 13, 7PM Colleen Perry, owner of the gift boutique, Brisonnte, demonstrates ribbon tying and wreath-making, as a way to help you prepare for the holidays.*
