Welcome to the New Flint Memorial Library Website

The library has a new website.

Flint Memorial Library: we’re at the same address but we have a new look, designed by Tom Rose of TK Rose Web Solutions, LLC, using WordPress. We wanted to make it easier for you to find a book, access an article online, download an audio or e-book, reserve a museum pass, or learn about programs for kids, teens, and adults. And you can do this all from your phone or tablet!

The beautiful watercolor of the library on the masthead is by North Reading artist, Don Doyle. We thank him for letting us use this image.

Our website isn’t the only new online offering. On October 1st the Merrimack Valley Library Consortium unrolled a new version of our Evergreen catalog, with some user-friendly features. You can now opt to receive text messages for holds notification and keep track of your personal reading history. To find out about these and other enhancements, please visit the MVLC website. Be sure to ask us if you need help with the new catalog.

But we’re not only online. We hope to see you often here at the library, at 147 Park Street. Come in and enjoy a cup of coffee, chat with staff about a new book , browse through our magazines, or pick up a DVD for the weekend. And take a moment to look at our new electronic bulletin board near the Circulation Desk. The scroll includes beautiful photographs of North Reading, taken on a recent Library Photo Walk, as well as information about what’s going on every week at the library.

Be sure to make a stop at the library part of your routine!
