Reading residents Marit Pywell and Sarah Lanzo were part of the Joe Andruzzi Foundation team to run the New Balance Falmouth Road Race, according to a recent release. Each runner raised a minimum of $1,250 to support of the foundation.
Pywell ran for Team JAF in memory of her husband Andrew and Lanzo ran in memory of Andrew as well.
The Joe Andruzzi Foundation is an organization that provides help, hope, and a reason to smile for cancer patients and their families, the release said.
