Reading's Old South Methodist Church lost a former pastor recently when Rev. Jean Russo Parks died Tuesday, Oct. 4 at the Philip Hulitar In-Patient Center, Providence, R.I. She was 54.
Russo-Parks served as the pastor of the Old South Methodist Church for ten years before becoming the pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church in Lincoln 11 years ago.
He funeral was held at the Reading church she used to preside over Monday.
