Antique car aficionados cruise to Longwood Place at Reading Free summer outing welcomes community visitors and senior residents

Longwood Place at Reading welcomed over 200 residents and community members to the assisted living facility's Pearl Street parking lot for its sixth, and most successful, annual Antique Car Review and Barbeque. In addition to the free BBQ, Bertucci’s generously provided free pizza.

Classic car lovers took a cruise down memory lane throughout the day viewing 35 restored antique automobiles mostly from the 1930's, 1940's, 1950's and 1960's.

"We look forward to the Car Review all year," said Longwood Executive Director Frank Petras.  "It's the perfect way to celebrate a beautiful summer day." Visitors who toured Longwood Place at Reading entered to win a gift card to the Horseshoe Grille.
