Parking lot at the PAC

I've received several emails from the school committee on wanting to take the PAC parking lot at RMHS for a preschool/kindergarten.  Have any of these people actually seem the parking lot?  Have any of these people actually been there during pickup?  Does anybody realize that RMHS is not big enough for the current student body and will only get worse in the next three years?  Has anybody addressed the fact that the student body that drives in and out of this and all RMHS parking lots are inexperienced operators.  You will be putting more pressure on a school that can not handle what's there.  You will now add in student body parking and have parents who will think they are more important because they are picking up and dropping off little ones.  This will be a logistical nightmare in the making!

Right now the freshman class at RMHS is the largest class in over 20 years.  The current 6th and 7th grade classes are the second and third largest.  These three classes combined will be at RMHS at the same time.

There are not enough tables at lunch for everyone to sit currently.  Why are we spending money to offer a free preschool/kindergarten when our current schools aren't big enough to house the current student body.  Barrows just renovated when the current freshman class was in kindergarten is too small and was with in two years of renovations.  Joshua Eaton I've heard is overcrowded as well.

I'm sorry, I can't see spending money when the town has clearly NOT prepared in the past for class size increases and the current student body suffers.
