ATM Bankers Have Cards Compromised, Restaurant Employee Threatened

The following information was compiled based on reports from the Reading Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Nov. 15

  • At 6:02 a.m. a resident on Lakeview Ave. reported their sunroof was damaged on their vehicle sometime overnight.
  • At 7:17 a.m. a two-car crash with no injuries was reported on Main Street near Hillside Road.
  • At 8:16 a.m. a crash was called in on General Way with possible injuries.
  • At 11:31 a.m. a woman on High Street told police that threats were made against her.
  • At 1:34 p.m. multiple customers from an ATM on Main Street reported that their cards were compromised.
  • At 2:06 p.m. a motor vehicle was sideswiped while in the Market Basket parking lot.
  • At 3:26 p.m. three youths were running back and forth across Main Street near Eric’s Greenhouse.
  • At 2:46 p.m. a tractor trailer was stuck in the Mobil parking lot.
  • At 5:11 p.m. a resident reported losing $300 in the area of Town Square on Main Street.
  • At 8:12 p.m. a woman on Mt. Vernon Street believed there were people inside of her home.
  • At 8:19 p.m. a woman came into the lobby to report past assault and battery.

Saturday, Nov. 16

  • At 10:37 a.m. an ambulance was called to West Street when a 91-year-old woman fell.
  • At 11:37 a.m. a Brentwood Drive woman told police she is being harassed by an ex-boyfriend’s family.
  • At 12:09 p.m. a young man was trying to open a fire hydrant with a wrench on Main Street.
  • At 9:21 p.m. a Domino’s employee was threatened by a customer.
  • At 9:23 p.m. an elderly man fainted inside Longhorn Steakhouse.
