Car Window Smashed Overnight in Reading

The following is an excerpt from the  log from Thursday. The information is open to the public.

Thursday, May 3

  • At 12:30 a.m., a Washington Street resident reported that her car was stolen. The car was later located in a different area of the parking lot. The resident had given her neighbor keys while she was on vacation and the neighbor had to move the car for tree removal.
  • At 8:39 a.m., a Lewis Street resident reported that the driver's side window of her car was smashed overnight.
  • At 5:43 p.m., as the result of a motor vehicle stop, a man was summonsed for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, without insurance or an inspection sticker and after his registration had been revoked.
