Cars Entered Around Reading, Teenager Reports Assault

Friday, Nov. 8

  • At 1:19 a.m. the Fire Department investigated a carbon monoxide leak on Lowell Street.
  • At 6:30 a.m. overnight parking tickets were issued in the area of Union Street.
  • At 8:22 a.m. two unlocked motor vehicles were entered overnight and items were taken on Pine Ridge Road.
  • At 1:11 p.m. a complainant reported fraud after checks were cashed at different locations.
  • At 3:27 p.m. a motor vehicle was reported to have been entered overnight on Curtis Street.
  • At 5:56 p.m. an unknown male was calling a house on Indiana Ave. reportedly intoxicated.

Saturday, Nov. 9

  • At 1:24 a.m. a possibly intoxicated teenage male on a skateboard was reported on Pine Ridge Road near Oak Street.
  • At 9:45 a.m. a 12-year-old girl was reported missing on Parkview Road, but she was eventually found.
  • At 12:18 p.m. State Police reported a possible brush fire on Border Road.
  • At 4:30 p.m. shots were heard in the area of Town Forest, possibly duck hunters.
  • At 11:03 p.m. a 14-year-old female ran to a neighbor’s house stating that her mother assaulted her.

Sunday, Nov. 10

  • At 11:15 a.m. an 11-year-old female fainted on Lilah Lane, but was concscious and awake.
  • At 5:04 p.m. an elderly woman on Pearl Street fell and suffered unknown injuries.
  • At 7:47 p.m. about 10 youths ran through a caller’s yard on Rocky Road.
  • At 8:28 p.m. a loud group at Joshua Eaton Elementary School was disturbing neighbors.
