Equipment Reported Stolen from Landscaping Business in North Reading

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the North Reading Police Department from Wednesday through Thursday. The information is open to the public.

Wednesday, Oct. 24

  • At 8:19 a.m., the owner of Eagle Landscaping reported that some of his equipment was stolen. Two blowers, a saw, a chain saw, two trimmers, a ladder and propane heater were taken.

Thursday, Oct. 25

  • At 5:30 p.m., an employee from Hess reported that a customer drove off without paying for gas. Police could not locate the vehicle based on the license plate number given.
  • At 6:18 p.m., a Marshall Street resident reported damage to his mailbox.
  • At 7:02 p.m., an officer reported a verbal altercation at the Stop and Shop gas station.
