Home Broken Into in Reading, Items Missing

The following is an excerpt from the Reading Police Department log from Friday through Wednesday. The information is open to the public.

Friday, Jan. 25

  • At 1:48 p.m., a caller reported that the door of a bobcat was stolen from Calareso's.

  • At 9:31 p.m., a caller reported a house party on Sanborn Lane. Police checked the area, but did not see any evidence of a house party. 

Sunday, Jan. 27

  • At 3:47 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on South Street. A car hit a rock wall. There was damage to a home on South Street, but no one was injured.

Monday, Jan. 28

  • At 2:45 p.m., a Van Norden Road resident reported that her car was egged.

Tuesday, Jan. 29

  • At 2:29 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Willow Street. No injuries were reported.

Wednesday, Jan. 30

  • At 12:23 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Pearl Street. The injuries were unknown.
  • At 7:43 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. The injuries were unknown.
  • At 9:28 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Lakeview Avenue. The accident was minor.
  • At 4:54 p.m., a Washington Street resident reported that a rock was thrown through the window of her home.
  • At 5:45 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Lowell Street. The injuries were unknown.
  • At 7:25 p.m., a Ridge Road resident reported that someone broke into her home and items were missing.
