Items Stolen From Multiple Residents' Vehicles

The following information was compiled based on reports from the Reading Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Featured Incidents

Friday, January 10

  • At 9:25 a.m. a resident reported an icy sidewalk on Haven Street.
  • At 9:41 a.m. a grey van was reportedly circling the area on Joseph Way.
  • At 12:30 p.m. a motor vehicle was hit while in the Staples parking lot.
  • At 1:19 p.m. a 50-year-old man fell on the ice and suffered a laceration to his head at Burbank Ice Arena. An ambulance was called to the scene.
  • At 6:30 p.m. a resident was taken into custody for operating with a revoked license after an OUI offense.
  • At 8:17 p.m. the Fire Department was called for a report of an outside odor of gas on Haven Street.
  • At 10:46 p.m. a 15-year-old boy received a suspicious phone call on Edgemont Ave.
  • At 10:50 p.m. a man and woman were arguing in the front yard of a Rocky Road home.

  • At 1:18 a.m. a motor vehicle was reported stolen out of the American Legion parking lot. It was located shortly after.
  • At 2:07 a.m. an officer came across an open door on Main Street.
  • At 11:13 a.m. a GPS and ear buds were reported stolen from a motor vehicle overnight on Deering Street.
  • At 12:26 p.m. a vehicle was rummaged through overnight on Highland Street.
  • At 12:29 p.m. a two-year-old fell and suffered a laceration to their head.
  • At 12:53 p.m. a suspicious individual was riding a bike in the area of Arlington Street.
  • At 2:05 p.m. a 36-year-old man was reported to be choking at a Main Street restaurant.
  • At 2:53 p.m. a customer was yelling at an employee at a Main Street car wash.
