Man Allegedly Steals Pornographic Magazines

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the Reading Police Department in recent days. The information is open to the public.

Arrest:

On Friday, Sept. 13, police arrested Dustin Patrick Rocha, 24, of 52 Ashton Street, Everett, on an outstanding warrant

  • At 2:21 a.m. officers checked on a suspicious motor vehicle on Main Street with a man sleeping in the car.
  • At 6:04 a.m. a man inside JK’s Market on Main Street allegedly stole three or four pornographic magazines.
  • At 11:12 a.m. a cat on Riverside Drive was bitten by another animal. The owner brought the animal to the veteranarian.
  • At 12:03 p.m. a Walkers Brook Drive resident reported a needle in the Staples parking lot.
  • At 1:56 p.m. a large coyote was reported in the backyard of a Franklin Street home.
  • At 3:35 p.m. a woman reported that her diamond ring was stolen the previous night from her Main Street home.
