Man Caught in Prediciment With Hand Stuck Between Seat and Console

A sampling of calls handled by Reading Police Department in recent days.

The following information was compiled based on reports from the Reading Police Department and Woburn Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, October 21

  • At 12:55 a.m. trash was reported dumped on the ground at Coolidge Middle School near the clothing donation bin.
  • At 9:32 a.m. a fox was in a Prospect Street resident’s house making the homeowner nervous.
  • At 10:00 a.m. an officer took a report for a missing person on Frank Tanner Drive, but the person was eventually located.
  • At 4:13 p.m. a resident told police that blood thinner medication was missing froma  mail order.
  • At 5:12 p.m. dispatch received a 911 call, but the resident said it was accidental.

Tuesday, October 22

  • At 9:34 a.m. a power line was down on Red Gate Lane.
  • At 11:36 a.m. a complaint came in for a motor vehicle that has been parked on Dana Road for two days.
  • At 12:49 p.m. the Fire Department was called to Market Basket after a man had his hand stuck between the seat and center console.
