MBTA Bus Reportedly Strikes Bicyclist on Washington Street

Thursday, Oct. 31

  • At 6:24 a.m. a man was walking his dog unleashed on Lowell Street.
  • At 11:44 a.m. a Line Road resident was throwing plastic bottles on their neighbor’s lawn.
  • At 5:51p.m. an MBTA bus struck a bicycle on Washington Street near Village Street.
  • At 6:07 p.m. a resident was concerned with a motor vehicle’s speed due to children in the area.
  • At 8:21 p.m. a single motor vehicle collision occurred on Bay Stat Road with the driving striking a pole. There were no injuries.
  • At 10:19 p.m. a Summer Ave. resident reported that their 12-year-old son had not yet returned home.

Friday, Nov. 1

  • At 1:14 a.m. a caller’s wife heard and saw someone at the window of their Dana Road home.
  • At 3:01 a.m. Wakefield Police reported an individual going through cars on Summer Ave.
  • At 11:30 a.m. a tree fell across Fairview Ave.
  • At 2:05 p.m. a resident reported that a GPS was taken from their vehicle on Bear Hill Road overnight.
  • At 7:58 p.m. it was discovered that cars were entered sometime overnight on Bear Hill Road.
