Multiple Items Reported Stolen in Recent Days

The following information was supplied by the Reading police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the Reading Police Department from Thursday through Monday. The information is open to the public.

Thursday, July 11

  • At 12:54 p.m. on Arthur B. Lord Drive, a caller reported that an iPhone was taken from the YMCA building the previous night.
  • At 6:50 p.m. a man was reported to be seizing on the sidewalk on Main Street outside of Anthony's Roast Beef. An ambulance was called to the area.
Thursday, July 12
  • At 10:44 a.m. a past fuel spill was called in on Main Street.
  • At 11:59 p.m. a Pearl Street resident reported that the flag was taken off of their house during the night.
  • At 12:27 p.m. police arrived at a Main Street apartment to attempt to serve a warrant to a resident for being a fugitive from justice.
  • At 5:23 p.m. a Duck Road resident came to the station to tell police that his golf clubs were stolen from his vehicle.
  • At 7:58 p.m. the building owner on Haven Street reported a breaking and entering into the apartment's electrical room.
Saturday, July 13
  • At 10:00 a.m. a Hillside Road resident reported that their house was broken into while they were away on vacation. Forced entry was found upon their return.
  • At 4:12 p.m. a customer of a Main Street car wash claimed that a gun was stolen from his vehicle.
  • At 10:26 p.m. a mother on William Road was concerned about a domestic incident, saying her son might be armed and is at the residence.
Sunday, July 14
  • At 3:44 a.m. police received a call about vehicles drag racing behind Burbank Ice Arena.
