Needham and Lowell Residents Arrested for OUI

A sampling of calls handled by Reading Police Department in recent days.

The following information was compiled based on reports from the Reading Police Department and Woburn Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests

On Sunday, Oct. 27, Reading Police arrested a pair of drivers for alleged drunk driving.

Aidan Patrick Driscoll, 18, of 27 Ingleside Road, Needham, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.

According to the police log on the incident, Driscoll was knocking on doors in the area of Plymouth Road and asking for a ride before he was taken into custody.

In addition, Jason Gath Dailey, 25, of 47 Arnold Ave., Lowell, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, second offense, and marked lanes violation.

Dailey’s arrest came following a traffic stop on Haverhill Street, according to the police log.

Additional Incidents

Sunday, October 27

  • At 12:32 a.m. a man was yelling and walking back and forth on Pearl Street.
  • At 2:25 a.m. Wilmington Police reported a man who said he was assaulted on Arcadia Ave.
  • At 12:38 p.m. a GPS was located that was possibly related to previous motor vehicle break ins.
  • At 5:07 p.m. a woman on Washington Street said she was attacked on the MBTA bus by her neighbor.
