North Andover Man Arrested for OUI

The following information was compiled based on reports from the Reading Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Arrest

On Friday, Jan. 3, at 10:45 p.m. a cruiser stopped a vehicle on Salem Street near Cumberland Farms. 

Following the traffic stop, police arrested Rick Hogan, 55, of 187 Stonecleave Road, North Andover. Hogan was charged with operating under the influence of liquor and marked lanes violation.

Thursday, January 2

  • At 8:51 a.m. on Riverside Drive an 85-year-old woman was having difficulty breathing.
  • At 10:41 a.m. a five- or six-year-old child was walking alone on Haverhill Street.
  • At 11:32 a.m. a motor vehicle rollover was reported with injuries on Main Street at Elderberry Lane.
  • At 3:32 p.m. a missing manhole cover was reported on Summer Ave.
  • At 7:07 p.m. a black Ford Explorer struck a wall on Harrison Street and left the scene.

  • At 1:24 a.m. a plow driver reported seeing youths at Barrows School earlier in the evening.
  • At 7:23 a.m. a resident on Chapin Ave. reported money and jewelry missing from their home.
  • At 12:10 p.m. a woman came into the lobby to report threatening text messages.
  • At 2:10 p.m. a resident on Mt. Vernon Street reported an assault and battery, along with a bylaw violation.
