Off-duty Cop Assists Man Hit by Car in Boston

Officer Sean O'Leary, his wife and an off-duty Peabody officer assisted an 18-year-old who was hit by a car on Sunday.

Early Sunday morning, off-duty Officer Sean O’Leary, his wife and an off-duty Peabody police officer assisted a man who was hit by a car in Boston.

At 1:16 a.m. Sunday, an 18-year-old Sherborn man was hit by a car on Dartmouth Street in the Back Bay. When Massachusetts state troopers arrived, O’Leary, his wife and an off duty Peabody Officer were helping the 18-year-old. 

The operator of the vehicle was a 43-year-old Revere man. Witnesses reported that 18-year-old may have jumped from the footbridge above and landed in the road. He is in critical condition at Tufts Medical Center.
