Pair of Calls for Suspicious Behavior at TD Bank

A sampling of calls handled by Reading Police Department in recent days.

The following information was compiled based on reports from the Reading Police Department and Woburn Police Department. An arrest does no indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Oct. 16

  • At 6:48 a.m. a resident reported an audible alarm on Oak Street.
  • At 7:42 a.m. a person was found camping in the woods on Main Street.
  • At 8:30 a.m. a boy appeared to be crying heading into North Reading.
  • At 4:02 p.m. police assisted after a child was locked inside of a motor vehicle on Fairchild Drive.
  • At 4:20 p.m. a backpack was left inform of the TD North Bank on Main Street, and police investigated.
  • At 5:31 p.m. residents on Arlington Street were reportedly shooting animals with a BB gun.
  • At 7:14 p.m. a be on the lookout was issued out of Andover for a missing juvenile, but the party was located.

Thursday, Oct. 17

  • At 12:22 a.m. a black sedan was driving up and down Causeway Road with no lights on.
  • At 1:14 a.m. fresh graffiti was located on an electric box on Haven Street.
  • At 7:34 a.m. a suspicious man was reported inside TD North on Main Street.
  • At 9:20 a.m. a chimney sweep scam was reported on Border Road.
  • At 11:08 a.m. a woman on Lowell Street felt as though her daughter took her vehicle.
  • At 4:45 p.m. a call for a possible broken leg at Parker Middle School came in. An ambulance was sent to the school.
  • At 5:08 p.m. a truck dumped debris in a Franklin Street parking lot, causing a motor vehicle to get dirty.
