Reading Police Arrest Wakefield Man for Breaking Into Home

On Wednesday, Dec. 4, Reading Police arrested Jeffrey E. Logan, 33, of 68 Redfield Road, Wakefield, and charged him with breaking and entering night time and larceny of property greater than $250.

  • At 3:06 a.m. a resident on Archstone Circle reported an SUV parked in front of the building running for over an hour.
  • At 8:14 a.m. a landscaper was blowing leaves into a neighbor’s lawn on Gardner Road.
  • At 10:30 a.m. a Woburn Street resident reported another woman leaving threatening voicemails.
  • At 1:11 p.m. a woman was reportedly intoxicated on Salem Street.
  • At 1:22 p.m. a male youth ran in front of a moving vehicle on Summer Ave.
  • At 4:40 p.m. erratic operation of a motor vehicle was reported on Main Street.
  • At 10:15 p.m. a motor vehicle was entered while the owner was inside Chili’s on Walkers Brook Drive.

  • At 8:47 a.m. a crash occurred near Bagel World with a man yelling at a female in the parking lot.
  • At 1:16 p.m. police received a complaint of a person being threatened by a co-worker.
  • At 2:39 p.m. a person came into the station to report a 1979 Lincoln missing.
  • At 4:55 p.m. a resident on Sunnyside Ave. returned home to find the home and inside garage door open.
  • At 5:55 p.m. a man was walking up Van Norden Street with a folded up mattress.
  • At 8:17 p.m. a woman reported her boyfriend was out of control and refusing to leave on Salem Street.
  • At 11:22 p.m. a neighbor was peeling in and out of a Hopkins Street driveway, yelling profanities.
