Reading Woman Accused of Using Stolen Pet Drugs

The Daily Times Chronicle reports the woman could have stolen about $5,000 in drugs.

No charges have been filed yet, but according to a report in the Daily Times Chronicle, a Reading woman was fired from her job at Woburn's PetSmart for allegedly stealing and injecting medications designed for pets.

According to the newspaper, the 27-year-old office manager, whose was not included in the article, may be responsible for the theft of $5,000 in pet medications.

Initially, an adjoining veterinary hospital noticed the missing drugs. After a staff meeting last week, an anonymous letter was sent to the hospital accusing the Reading woman of the thefts.
