Residents Report Stolen iPad, Broken and Thrown Fence

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the Reading Police Department in recent days. The information is open to the public.

Tuesday, August 27

  • At 8:13 a.m. a Summer Ave. resident reported their fence was broken and thrown into the road overnight, valued at over $250.
  • At 10:41 a.m. two construction workers on Westcroft Road were reported to be fighting.
  • At 9:38 p.m. a criminal application was filed on a driver after a motor vehicle stop on Lowell Street near Town Hall.

  • At 3:44 a.m. a Condor Road resident believed she had foxes inside her home.
  • At 7:44 a.m. a resident on West Street reported that an iPad was stolen from their unlocked motor vehicle.
  • At 3:31 p.m. a breaking and entering was reported on Parkview Road with a man entering the property via a window.
