Six Summonsed for Municipal Bylaw or Ordinance Violation in North Reading

The following information was supplied by the North Reading police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the North Reading Police Department from Monday through Tuesday. The information is open to the public.

Monday, Sept. 24

  • At 7:26 p.m., a caller reported a fire on Lowell Road. The grill fire was put out by the Fire Department.
  • At 9 p.m., a North Street resident reported that her neighbor was yelling over the fence at her. Police spoke to the woman and resolved the issue.

Tuesday, Sept. 25

  • At 9:08 a.m., a 40-year-old North Reading man was summonsed on Lakeside Boulevard for a municipal bylaw or ordinance violation.
  • At 9:19 a.m., a 59-year-old North Reading man was summonsed on Swan Pond Road for a municipal bylaw or ordinance violation.
  • At 9:29 a.m., a 34-year-old North Reading woman was summonsed on Lakeside Boulevard for a municipal bylaw or ordinance violation.
  • At 9:38 a.m., a 41-year-old North Reading man was summonsed on Linwood Avenue for a municipal bylaw or ordinance violation.
  • At 9:51 a.m., a 74-year-old Middleton man was summonsed on Main Street for a municipal bylaw or ordinance violation.
  • At 9:57 a.m., a 53-year-old North Reading man was summonsed on Greene Street for a municipal bylaw or ordinance violation.
  • At 11:03 a.m., several emergency callers reported an accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported. 
  • At 2:11 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Concord Street. No injuries were reported. The accident is under investigation.
  • At 7:10 p.m., a caller reported a motorcycle accident on Haverhill Street.
