Suspicious U-Haul, Man Slumped Over in Car and Snow Issues

Monday, Dec. 16

  • At 5:39 p.m. suspicious behavior was reported as a U-Haul was stopping in front of houses with no lights on.
  • At 11:13 p.m. an officer came upon an unlocked motor vehicle on Franklin Street with items possibly stolen.

Tuesday, Dec. 17

  • At 7:44 a.m. a man in a wheelchair was stuck on the ice on Salem Street.
  • At 10:33 a.m. a woman said that a man in a gold sedan was driving towards her while she was walking her dog.
  • At 11:27 a.m. an Abigail Way resident reported fraudulent use of a bank account and social security number.
  • At 1:43 p.m. a car on Main Street was damaged as a result of a road rage incident.
  • At 4:01 p.m. a two-car crash occurred on Franklin Street, though there were no injuries.
  • At 4:39 p.m. a passerby reported a vehicle forced a car off the road and into a snow bank near McDonald’s.
  • At 5:46 p.m. a motor vehicle drove off the road and into the commons on Main Street.
  • At 7:47 p.m. and over the next several hours, police received several snow related calls including a resident snow blowing on their neighbor’s house, a disabled plow, and motor vehicles parked on the road impeding plows from clearing the streets.

Wednesday, Dec. 18

  • At 8:56 a.m. a man was reported as possibly slumped over in his motor vehicle on Grove Street.
  • At 9:18 a.m. a Prescott Street resident reported an outside odor of gas possibly coming from the sewer.
  • At 12:55 p.m. a bus was stuck in the snow on Edgemont Ave. blocking traffic.
  • At 5:25 p.m. a street sign and police were knocked over on Willard Road.
  • At 6:23 p.m. a woman believed she heard a gunshot in the area of Richards Road.
  • At 9:32 p.m. someone dumped trash in a resident’s dumpster on Middlesex Ave.
