Tewksbury Brothers Arrested On Child Pornography Charges

Investigation spearheaded by Department of Homeland Security.

Tewksbury brothers are facing felony child pornography charges after being arrested on Dec. 20.

Steven M. Fierimonte, 43, and Robert C. Fierimonte, 50, were arrested by Tewksbury detectives at their residence at 100 Prospect Hill Drive.

Details regarding the case are limited, as the investigation is ongoing, according to Tewksbury Police Chief Timothy Sheehan.

Sheehan said agents from the Department of Homeland Security arrived at Tewksbury Police Headquarters the morning of Dec. 20 and informed him of an investigation involving the Fierimonte brothers and alleged involvement with child pornography.

Local and federal officers then went to the Prospect Hill Drive home at 12:30 p.m., and both Fierimonte's were arrested by Tewksbury Detectives. Computers, allegedly containing images of child pornography, were seized at the residence.

Robert Fierimonte is charged with possession of child pornography and concealing child pornography. His place of employment is listed as Winchester Hospital.

Steven Fieremonte is charged with using/consuming child pornography. Records indicate Steve Fierimonte works as a professor of mathematics at both Bunker Hill Community College in Charlestown and Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner.

Both men were scheduled to be arraigned in Lowell District Court, according to Sheehan.

How is that idea working out for the war on drugs? We've incarcerated millions of people for using drugs over the last 40 years and yet there is still a plentiful supply of illegal drugs. So perhaps we need to reconsider the idea that supply and demand work the same in every circumstance. The numbers of men incarcerated for child porn is skyrocketing and yet child porn is still easily and freely available. Maybe the supply and demand of the marketplace is not what is at work here.

Marie, The issue is we slap the "user" on the wrist. If you got 10 years for first time use mandatory the market would dry up. Just look at the Patch and the police blog. A few weeks ago a girl got arrested twice in the same day! Slap on the wrist and on their way to do it again and again. We have been trying to go after the supplier of drugs not the user. The user gets a slap. Heck look at Lindsey Lohan slap, rehab (which she fails to show up for half the time) and probation. Crash a car, slap, rehab and probation. Rinse and repeat!

Ever wonder why there is so much sexual misconduct in our society? Just like Big Tobacco, the pornography industry doesn't want the public to know the dangers and effects of their product. You have been told that watching porn is normal, harmless and that everybody does it. You have been lied to. Find out the TRUTH. Then make your choice. http://porntruth.wordpress.com
