Two Arrested at North Reading McDonalds for Drugs

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the  from Friday through Sunday. The information is open to the public.

Arrests

At 7:52 p.m. on Friday, Christopher Venezia, 30, of 9 Pine Glen Dr., was arrested for distributing a class A drug and Nicholas Marasco, 27, of 16 Beacon St. in Haverhill was arrested for possession of a class A drug. Both arrests were made at .

At 3:01 p.m. on Saturday, John Anthony Delaney, 19, with an address listed as 130 Middlesex Turnpike in Burlington, was arrested for unlicensed and unregistered operation of a motor vehicle and a peddling door-to-door violation on Caroline Road.

Friday, April 6

  • At 9:44 a.m., a caller reported credit card fraud.
  • At 12:21 p.m., an emergency caller reported a past road rage incident on Main Street.
  • At 2:50 p.m., a Park Street resident reported that he was having a dispute with a neighbor over the dumping of tree and brush over the property line. The caller was concerned of a potential brush fire.
  • At 4:42 p.m., a Marshall Street resident reported a minor incident that happened earlier that afternoon. While playing with his son in his yard, a teenager who lives in a home on Marshall Street threw a rock into his yard. The caller spoke to the homeowner, who said it was an accident.
  • At 6:33 p.m., a Burroughs Road resident reported a teenager on her property. Police spoke with the teenager involved who said he was using the yard as a cut through.

Saturday, April 7

  • At 12:24 p.m., a Lowell Road resident reported a lot of noise coming from the apartment below them and possibly noise from a saw. Police investigated and found that the residents in the apartment below the caller had a water leak and building maintenance was attempting to fix the problem.
  • At 10:37 a.m., a caller reported harassment from her neighbor. The caller was informed of the harassment law and her options were explained.
  • At 11:34 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
  • At 11:47 a.m., a caller reported a possible Craigslist scam. She turned in two fraudulent Money Gram orders sent to her by mail.
  • At 3:01 p.m., a 44-year-old Burlington resident was summonsed for a peddling door-to-door violation on Caroline Road.  
  • At 7:00 p.m., a Central Street resident dropped a letter off at the police station that she deemed suspicious. Police investigated and found that the letter, offering free airline tickets, was semi-legitimate, but not recommended.

Sunday, April 8

  • At 1:07 a.m., a caller reported that several cars were flashing their high beams at her while driving on Main Street. She pulled over and when police met her, they found that she didn't have her headlights on, which is why cars may have been flashing their high beams at her.
