Two Prostitution Arrests Made in Reading

Reading Police made two prostitution arrests on Nov. 9 at 12:48 p.m. Yong Du, 43, 4180 Summit Court, Flushing, New York and Youjia Zhang, 24, 360 Main Street, Reading were both arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit prostitution. Zhang was also charged with sexual conduct for a fee. 

According to police, they worked with North Eastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (NEMLEC) detectives to conduct the investigation of alleged prostitution at Reading Body Wellness Center on Main Street Reading. An undercover officer went into the center and pretended to be a customer during the investigation. 

Both Du and Zhang were arrested at the Main Street business and will be arraigned at Woburn District Court on Nov. 13. The Reading Body Wellness Center will be closed, police said.
