Happy Birthday Joe and Dan! I expect we'll be seeing your names in the log quite often. Have you starting "singing" yet?
Mark Twain June 27, 2012 at 12:43 AM
Reading High sports has positive influence on youths - oh wait never mind.
Joe Veno June 27, 2012 at 12:47 AM
Rob if you are are going to take cheap shots at the parents at least have the guts to identify yourself. I think it is great the arrest was made. Put your self in their place how would you feel if this was your kids and then have to listen to people like you?
Cheryl Buono June 27, 2012 at 01:00 AM
Joe, you obviously don't know what you are talking about.
Joe Veno June 27, 2012 at 01:25 AM
Cheryl please explain you coment that I do not know what I am talking about.
Rob June 27, 2012 at 02:52 PM
Not to pile on, but Joe, you ask how the parents might feel. Well they're the ones responsible, at least in part for letting their kids use and sell drugs while living in their home.
B June 27, 2012 at 03:15 PM
Rob you are a fool.. the cops in this town illegally ruin the lives of good kids. You do not even know these kids they are good people so you should know what you are talking about before you open your mouth. The parents are actually great parents maybe you are just an awful parent. Your a loser!
Wilbur June 27, 2012 at 04:21 PM
I agree with B, you all are wrong, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all..You all need to mind your business clearly you do not know what you are talking about. Pathetic people, get on with your lives and know what your talking about before you post, and keep those gross comments off of here.
John June 27, 2012 at 05:06 PM
Typical Reading police with nothing to do but bust teenagers for a victimless "crime". Why don't they go do something useful for a change? These are good respectful kids too.
Rob June 27, 2012 at 05:20 PM
Dealing drugs is victimless? Forged drivers license. Sounds like you must be their customers.
John June 27, 2012 at 05:26 PM
All these kids were doing is selling drugs. Just as the man behind the counter can legally sell you cancer sticks or hard liquor. These 2 teens were not out "gangbanging" and stabbing people. The drivers license was to get alcohol (obviously). I fail to see the problem with this. Just because it's "the law" doesn't make it morally right or wrong. Try thinking for yourself.
Anthony Martinez June 27, 2012 at 06:17 PM
Coming up next on Flame Wars...Ding Ding Ding these men are 18. Class D(Pot) and Class B(Cocaine, Ecstasy etc..). Oh wait lets just coddle these "kids" a bit longer and see what happens. Heck give them a trophy and a do over while we are at it. John listen to "yourself" All these kids were doing is selling drugs - no big deal These 2 teens were not out "gangbanging" and stabbing people - Yet.. The drivers license was to get alcohol (obviously) - wow you are pretty smart I fail to see the problem with this - really?
John June 27, 2012 at 07:35 PM
Bill - This isn't meth. These kids were selling marijuana which is either grown locally or out in CO or CA. The weed produced in Mexico is very cheap stuff. The reason we have this violent problem is because of the failed War on Drugs. Keeping drugs illegal solves nothing and creates 10 new problems. You want to shut down the cartels? Legalization is the only way that is going to happen. Drug use is a victimless crime. Anthony - So you think every person who sells drugs ends up in a gang stabbing people? Again, I see zero problem with selling drugs. They all need to be legalized. Until then you can thank Obama and the DEA for this absolute joke that is causing the violence - The War on Drugs.
Phil Harmonic June 27, 2012 at 09:54 PM
John, you must be a customer to call them good kids. Now that dumb and dumber are 18 Mr. and former Mrs and Mrs #2 get to see their names in the paper and not for football. They can't play winter track to get off this time. No more AD, it's the DA now.
Joe Veno June 27, 2012 at 10:22 PM
Rob, This is what you posted, Not to pile on, but Joe, you ask how the parents might feel. Well they're the ones responsible, at least in part for letting their kids use and sell drugs while living in their home. Also Rob I could care less if you pile on but prove to me that your statment is true. Please show me in the article where it said the parents were letting there kids use and sell drugs as you stated. I Read the article several times and I can not find it.
Joe Veno June 27, 2012 at 10:26 PM
peter lucci you have already told all of us this is a phoney name you are using so that makes you a phoney. I also want to remind you. I said you were the coward not everyone who does not use their real name just you.
Roxy June 27, 2012 at 10:29 PM
Most of you need to stop being so ignorant. Saying theyre not good kids because they got caught with some marijuana is horrendous. They made a mistake, simple as that no need to hang them out to dry. The Class B drug they were found with was percoset by the way. That is the biggest problem in Reading, not a little bit of pot. All the parents arguing and saying how these are terrible kids should take a closer look at their own family's and children because the problem is a lot closer to home than many would like to believe.
Marisa June 27, 2012 at 11:28 PM
I wonder how any of you would feel reading this about your own two kids..you should ALL feel ashamed of yourselves. Seriously.
dixie normus June 28, 2012 at 01:20 AM
These two kids are like 75% of the kids living in Reading. There is a big drug problem in Reading, so instead of judging these two kids go take a look at your own children and what they might be doing "under your roof". Its really sad that all of you have nothing better to do with your time then sit on the computer and bash other people who are going through a rough time. What happened had nothing to do with the way that their parents raised them. Unless you dont personally know these boys then you have no right to speak wrongly about them, they have a lot of potential which this mistake could have potentially ruin their lives. Its sad that people can just comment on someone elses life. So again go take a look at what your own children might be doing because most of kids in reading were friends with the staffier boys.
Tom beuclar June 28, 2012 at 02:04 AM
These kids are great kids
Tyler sheridan June 28, 2012 at 02:29 AM
That's my friend
Emily M June 28, 2012 at 01:08 PM
Better get these kids help now before they end up like some of the other 'innocent' drug dealers in town.
