Window Blown Out of School, Gas Leak Reported on Main Street

Tuesday, Nov. 19

  • At 3:18 a.m. officers discovered that the window screen near Door 6 at Joshua Eaton Elementary School was blown out.
  • At 10:35 a.m. a truck hit wires on Summer Ave. and wires were hanging low across the street.
  • At 11:09 a.m. police found a limping Collie and believe the animal may have been struck by a car.
  • At 4:46 p.m. a dog was struck by a motor vehicle on Salem Street. At 5:06 p.m. another dog was reported struck by a motor vehicle on Curtis Street.

Wednesday, Nov. 20

  • At 7:27 a.m. a man was on the train tracks on Main Street.
  • At 9:59 a.m. a person with a skeleton mask was reported in the area of Main Street.
  • At 1:06 p.m. glass was reported in the road on Hopkins Street.
  • At 4:46 p.m. the Fire Department was called for a strong odor of gas in a Main Street building.
  • At 4:42 p.m. an elderly man attempted to leave Market Basket without paying.
  • At 8:29 p.m. on Route 28 North, an officer reported a vehicle traveling on the wrong side of the road.
