15 Have Taken Out Papers for Reading and North Reading Spring Elections
Four people in North Reading and 11 in Reading have pulled papers so far.
Wondering who will be running in this year’s election? So far, 11 Reading residents and four North Reading residents have pulled papers. Papers in Reading are due back by Feb. 12 at 5:30 p.m. and in North Reading on March 19 at 5 p.m.
Reading
Marsie West, Mark Jackson and Daniel Ensminger pulled papers for the Board of Selectmen, but there are only two spots open.
Incumbents Richard Curtis and Cherrie Dubois have pulled papers for the Board of Library Trustees. Alan Foulds plans to run again for moderator and Charles Robinson for the School Committee.

Phillip Pacino and John Stempeck are the only incumbents from the RMLD Board of Commissioners that have pulled papers so far, but David Mancuso and David Talbot have also taken out papers. These residents need 50 signatures to appear on the ballot for the April 2 election.

Incumbents Bob Mauceri and Mike Prisco took out papers for the Board of Selectmen.
Two others took out papers for re-election: John Murphy for town moderator and Joe Veno for the Housing Authority.
Those candidates are required to receive signatures from 50 registered voters to qualify for the May 7 election.
