Read A Replay of Tuesday Night's Selectmen's Candidate Debate

Reading Patch hosted a live blog from Tuesday's debate.

Two candidates, one vacant seat on the Board of Selectmen.

John Arena and Karen Gately Herrick will go toe-to-toe this evening in a candidate debate at RCTV Studios on Main Street. The debate represents the best chance for voters to hear what the candidates are all about before the March 6 election.

will air at 7 p.m. and will be hosted by Kevin Vendt and Dick Curtis, who have hosted RCTV’s election coverage for the past five years.

Can't tune in live on TV? No sweat. Reading Patch has you covered.

We will be blogging live from the debate, starting at 7 p.m., so no matter where you are, if you're near a computer, you can follow along with the discussion as the two candidates vie for the privilege of serving as one of Reading's highest elected officials.

Just click the link above to follow along, and simply type in the box to ask a question or to share your thoughts on the proceedings.

Ticket "out of towners" for cutting through Reading via West St as a way to generate revenue??? How very welcoming Karen. If you could change one thing about Reading it would be less traffic lights on Route 28 so you wouldn't have such a long commute???? Seriously? As a professional woman who has worked to be recognized for my contributions, not for being a female I'm offended that Ms. Herrick made a grab for votes just because she is a female in her closing statement. I found this debate very helpful in educating myself on the two candidates. Thanks to RCTV for getting this information out to residents interested in making informed decisions. Sorry Karen, there was little substance in your responses. My vote goes to John Arena.
