Medical Marijuana, Digital Billboards Come Before Town Meeting Tuesday

Subsequent Town Meeting is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. inside Reading Memorial High School.

A total of 15 articles are set to be discussed on Tuesday night during Subsequent Town Meeting, which takes place at Reading Memorial High School inside the Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m.

Among the issues on the warrant is Article 15, which will see if residents support a temporary moratorium through November 2014 on medical marijuana in Reading.

  • Article 7 - Accept Easements for West Street Improvements
  • Article 8 - Authorize Debt for West Street Project Local Share and Other Related Costs
  • Article 9 - Authorize Debt for Sewer Improvements
  • Article 10 - Approval of Amendments to the Table of Organization per Section 6-1(b) of the Reading Home Rule Charter
  • Article 11 - Amend the Fiscal Year 2014 Budget
  • Article 12 - Repeal Section 6.2.2 m and 6.2.6.3.1 of Zoning Bylaw, Off Premises Signs (Prohibiting Digital Billboards)
