New Member Coming Soon to Reading School Committee

A joint meeting between the School Committee and Board of Selectmen on Monday night served to fill a vacant spot.

A Monday night join meeting between the Board of Selectmen and School Committee was held to find a replacement for a resigning town official.

School Committee Robert Spadafora's seat will need to be filled as he resigned due to a work assignment in Europe, according to the Daily Times Chronicle. As a result, the joint meeting was held to interview four candidates for the position.

According to the newspaper, Jeanne Borawski, Richard Coco, Shannon Fratto, and Demetra Tseckare were the residents scheduled to be interviewed on Monday night as they hope to join the School Committee on a term that expires in April.
