If Senator Katherine Clark is elected to Congress this December, there will be a special election for her seat that will include Reading. According to one report, a Reading town official is pondering a potential run for that spot as state senator.
“For me, if I was a state senator, my role would be the same as it is as a selectman,” Tafoya said, according to the newspaper. “Every day, how could I help improve the quality of life of the people who I’m responsible for representing? That’s my main mission and main goal.”
