Selectmen Hear Details of Traffic Impact for Proposed New School

Another traffic study will likely be conducted, according to a report in the Daily Times Chronicle.

Reading selectmen discussed the traffic impact of the proposed Woburn Street School during a meeting last week, and it likely won't be the last time the topic comes up.

According to a story in the Daily Times Chronicle, selectman Marsie West attended a meeting with abutters of the school. The newspaper reported that there were large gaps in the traffic study and that another one should be completed.

The newspaper added that the school, which is proposed at 172 Woburn Street, will feature a total of 240 students. Traffic was collected on June 13 and included the intersections of Woburn Street and Summer Ave. along with Woburn Street and Lowell Street.
