Washington Park Design, Liquor Licenses on Tuesday BOS Agenda

Tuesday's meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. inside Reading Town Hall.

Reading's Board of Selectmen meets on Tuesday night with a variety of topics on the agenda at 7 p.m. inside Town Hall.

Among the first discussion items is an update on the Johnson Wood Project and approval of an amendment for Johnson Woods, which according to the agenda is an affordable housing development.

The Reading Coalition Against Substance Abuse will provide an overview at 7:45 p.m. before board members approve liquor licenses at about 8:15 p.m.

There will also be hearings on the final design for Washington Park and an update on lighting at Memorial Park. The Recreation Department will update selectmen on a dog park opportunity, the Birch Meadow master plan and regionalization.
