Local Men Highlight RNR Chamber of Commerce Women Celebrating Event Fashion Show 4.10.14

Local men will be appearing in a fashion show at the Reading-North Reading 7th Annual Women Celebrating fund-raiser on Thursday, April 10 at the Woburn Hilton Hotel. Representing Reading on the run way are Steve Chuha, Dennis Collins, John Douglass, Gregg Johnson, David Traniello, Kevin Barile and Damian Vega.  North Reading will be represented by Al Comeau, Giles Norton and Rob Peterson.  

“We wanted to include as many members as possible this year and attract more men to the event,” commented Chamber President Lisa DeLeo.  “We brought back the men’s fashion show as a major highlight to the evening. We did it two years ago, it was such a huge hit that people are still talking about it.” 

The men’s fashion show, entitled “Rugged and Refined”, will feature 10 local men modeling fashions from Sterlingwear of Boston.  Prior to the show, the men will receive complimentary haircuts and grooming from Lumina Salon.  “We wanted to make it special for our male models by giving them the VIP treatment by one of our Chamber members” said Chamber Executive Director Janet Wolbrom.  

The event will also feature two other fashion shows, shopping at 40 plus vendor booths, food, specialty martinis, swag bags and free samples.  Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. They can be purchased in advance by calling the Chamber at 978-664-5060 or by email at rnrchambercom@aol.com.
