The Monument Square Brass will perform at 3:45 PM at the Haven Street Stage on September 8, 2013 at the Reading Fall Faire.
Three of the musicians in this quintet perform regularly with the Reading Symphony Orchestra and include trumpeters Jim Dolham and Becky Dixon, and trombonist Bruce Guttman.
The quintet will be performing a wide variety of music including The James Bond Theme, Procession of the Nobles, Nightingale in Berkley Square, and the Prelude to Carmen.
The Monument Square Brass (www.monumentsquarebrass.com) was founded in 2009 by working musicians from the Merrimack Valley with the common goal of bringing classical, popular and jazz brass ensemble music to audiences throughout the area. The group performs annually at the Merrimack College Summer Series, Winter Holiday Stroll and Taste of Downtown Nashua, ArtWalk as well as for church services and private events.
