Richard you are so wrong on all of your of your points. That is your opinion about my common sense on this site. It seems that my common sense points got to you. Maybe it was the part about Reading having the porn movie and sex shop that got to you. Funny in you sarcastic remarks back to me you did not addrerss that did you. Yea I have won and lost elections but unlike you I have the guts to try. Sorry Richard wrong again that is only your opinion that Reading is the first choice over North Reading..

Joe, I'm new to Reading but I heard about that store from neighbors, I believe it burned down in 2006. Am I correct that you're talking about a store that burned down almost seven years ago? Yes, I think Richard was trying to goat you into a Reading vs. North Reading argument, but your point that Reading had an adult movie store almost seven years ago doesn't hold its weight. Should Reading be looked down on because it allowed a business to operate, which you consider to be taboo. We live in Massachusetts, a socially liberal state. I think you should realize this isn't the world you grew up in. Times have changed and people are more accepting of other peoples choices and activities. I personally chose Reading because of the excellent school system, closer proximity to Boston, and the overall tight knit community feel. I looked at houses in North Reading and wasn't able to get exactly what I felt I deserved as prospective homeowner and future member of the community. Overall, I love Reading and appreciate my trips to the Walmart in N. Reading. What's up with Kitty's? I heard they have large portions.

Yup, it burned down in the early morning hours of January 16th 2006....the first of 2 major fires for Amazing.net in a matter of a week. The other being the one on RT1 in Peabody, which has since been rebuilt. And as far as Im concerned, this "debate" is like a my dad will kick you dads a** fight in the schoolyard. Who really cares? I live in Reading, but would live in N Reading too. Both are great communities in their own ways. Both have good school systems, both have well trained and professional police and fire departments etc. Theres REALLY nothing to complain about living in either place besides the normal ongoings in each respective town. Last I checked, niether town decides on whether to do something or not based on looking "better than" the other. What happens in N Reading has ZERO effect on my life, just like what happens in Reading has ZERO effect on Joes life.....well except pension maybe. Joe, you were a big part of the PD here in Reading when I was a kid. Met you many times. Please dont get into a pissing contest on whos better. YOU are better than that.

Jacklyn and Kevin. I want to be clear on one thing. I think Reading is a great town. But I will not be silent when people form anywhere not only Reading try to put North Reading down. I only brought up the sex store because he threw Wallmart in my face. I think Wallmart is a great store. People like him will try to put North Reading down because we have a Walmart but they will shop there. Kevin thank you for those kind words. It is not my intention to get into a pi##ing contest with anybody but as you know I do not back down from anybody. In my opinion North Reading & Reading are two of the nicest towns north of Boston..
