Many of us recognize the importance of drinking enough water and staying hydrated when the weather gets warmer.  Don't forget that it's equally important to stay hydrated all year!

In terms of fat loss and muscle gain, staying hydrated helps in ways it’s impossible to quantify. First, your metabolism is more efficient: when you’re dehydrated, things slow down (partially for conservation). Secondly, hydrated muscles contract more efficiently. Workouts will be more productive, and can be more intense.

There are also many overall health benefits to being hydrated.  Not the least of which is a healthier digestive system.  If you suffer from any form of digestive issues or even discomfort make absolutely sure to drink enough water.
