Bruins Offer Free Hockey Clinics Throughout Greater Boston

The Boston Bruins are offering six Get Out And Learn (G.O.A.L) clinics at no cost.

It may still technically be summer. But thanks to several clinics around the Greater Boston region, area youths will have the chance to hit the ice this month.

The Boston Bruins are hosting six hockey clinics called G.O.A.L. (Get Out And Learn) aimed to provide free skating and hockey instructions. Several of the sessions are close enough that it may be worth a drive out of Reading to take advantage of the cost-free opportunity.

Equipment will be provided at the clinics, including skates and helmets, in order to give skaters of any level the opportunity to experience the game of hockey.

According to Bruins Manager of Youth Hockey Development Mike Dargin, the clinics give participants the chance to try hockey, interact with team mascot Blades and participate in Bruins giveaways.

“We host these free clinics to break down barriers and to give children, and parents, the chance to try hockey without a financial commitment,” said Dargin. “As an organization, we believe in giving back to local organizations to get more children involved in the wonderful sport of hockey.”
