Rockets Prepare to Face Mansfield Again in Super Bowl

The Reading Rockets are playing Mansfield for the second time Saturday in the Super Bowl. Take a look at Reading's Super Bowl history.

The Reading Rockets will play the Mansfield Hornets Saturday in the Super Bowl. Kickoff is at 2 p.m. at Bentley University.

So far, the Rockets have played a solid season with a record of 12-0. They are ranked third in the state.

Reading has played in eight Super Bowl games since 1974, and they won five of those games.

One of those losses came when the Rockets played Mansfield in the Super Bowl at Gillette Stadium in 2010 for their second straight Division 2 Super Bowl championship. Mansfield came back from 19 points down in the second half to win by three points. The final score was 29-26.
