Home Needed: Landry, a Young Tiger Cat

Even a tiger has to nap sometimes.

My name is Landry and having fun is my game. That means I am looking for a home with lots of action, activity, and some other animals. I love toys so I hope you have a good supply of balls, catnip mice, and strings. If you will play laser pointer with me, I will run after that red dot until I fall into an exhausted heap. My foster parents do for me this every night, but you can take a day off occasionally, if you really need to. I should tell you that I adore dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am happy to wrestle and play with them. When we are done, I can snuggle right up as I do with my foster sister, a Lab mix.You can watch me play with her in my video. I also like my foster brother, an orange tabby cat who is very nice, although definitely not as handsome as I am.

Besides being handsome, sweet, and affectionate, I do have one other thing that makes me special. I am very hard of hearing. That is because I had a polyp deep in my ear. My foster mother is a veterinarian, so she operated on me and now I am feeling perfect. I am a little hard of hearing, however. I only hear very loud sounds. There are advantages to this, like being a sound sleeper. Sometimes I meow a bit too loudly when I am playing with you because I can’t hear myself. I really don’t think any of this is a problem and you should not either. I just carry on with my happy life, loving and playing with everyone and everything in sight.

If I had to sum myself up, I would say I am go-along, get-along kind of cat. I can fit in everywhere and with everybody. A busy, active household with people and other pets would be ideal for me. That is not to say I need to be by your side every moment. I can always use my free time to enjoy a good nap as you can see in my photo. If all this sounds agreeable to you, give me a call. I bet we would get along perfectly.
